Program Manager - Urban Forestry
Anand Kumar, based in New Delhi, India, is a dedicated researcher and practitioner specializing in urban and community forestry, ecosystem services, social forestry, and carbon sequestration. He holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, where his research focused on assessing ecosystem services provided by urban green spaces in Delhi, including their carbon sequestration potential and spatial distribution.
With advanced technical expertise in tools such as i-Tree, GIS, and remote sensing, Dr. Kumar has made significant contributions to impactful research and projects, including geotagging and tree census studies. He has authored several peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals, highlighting themes of urban greenery and sustainable development, and has presented his findings at national and international conferences.
Professionally, Dr. Kumar serves as an Urban Environmental Stewardship Expert with the US Forest Service, building on prior roles as an Environmental Justice Intern at Fair Forests Consulting, LLC, and facilitator with the United States-India Educational Foundation. His academic and professional journey is distinguished by accolades such as the Doctorate Fellowship from the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, along with leadership roles in academic and alumni associations.

Senior Geospatial Specialist
Aaditi Dwivedi is a motivated GIS and remote sensing specialist with a solid academic foundation and hands-on experience in geospatial analysis and spatial statistics. She excels in handling raster and vector data, map digitization, spatial analysis, and georeferencing. Her portfolio includes diverse projects such a morphometric analysis, hazard zonation, and flood simulation mapping.
Aaditi is proficient in GIS tools like ArcGIS and QGIS, along with image processing software such as ERDAS Imagine. Her technical expertise extends to advanced tools like Google Earth Engine, SQL, Python ,DEM data analysis etc.
With a passion for leveraging geospatial technologies to tackle environmental challenges, Aaditi has also participated in workshops on eco-sustainability and advanced GIS techniques, underscoring her dedication to innovation and excellence in geospatial science.
